In a news report this week, Democracy Now’s Amy Goodman focuses on Minnesota’s congressional lawmaker, Ilhan Omar’s rant against the United States of America, and her autobiography, which is now available. Ms. Omar’s description of how the United States has morphed into a 3rd world “police state” with masked armed men. She is referring to our US ICE Agents. They are snatching people off the streets, unwilling to Identify themselves. Really, Ms. Omar? That in itself would be unlawful. They identify with a court order in hand. She goes on to describe how our military has been deployed on our streets. She must be referring to the National Guard, along with the Marines that were deployed after the LA Sheriff Department requested help from other county agencies. And while we already know the track record of Governor Gavin Newsome, He refused the aid of the National Guard, leaving LA at the mercy of the undocumented immigrants and their supporters while they torch WeMo vehicles around the city. Omar goes on saying that this is a “constitutional crisis” as if President Trump doesn’t have the authority as president of the United States under section of Title 10 of the U.S. Code, a federal law that allows the president to call in a state's National Guard if there's "danger of a rebellion" against the government in which Governor Newsome refuses to admit to such a danger. The interview proceeds with Omar frantically disputing the parade held for our US Army’s 250th birthday as a celebration of some authoritarian government. She also says that she grew up never remembering a time witnessing a celebration of a country’s armed forces. What, Ms. Omar? You never heard of Veterans Day or Memorial Day? You have been in this country long enough to understand that yes, we celebrate those who served and have fallen. Time to step back into reality, Ms. Omar! Another idiotic statement that shows just how dumb she is “to have a democracy, a beacon of hope turned into one of the worst countries…” First and foremost, Ms. Omar, the United States is NOT a democracy, we are a REPUBLIC. When are you and the rest of your liberal confidants ever going to get that straight? It’s more of a wake-up call for you, Ms. Omar, not Americans. Many of us Americans understand our heritage. Although it doesn’t fit with your socialist narrative, it’s what we are. We are proud to be American! Maybe that is why your parents abandoned their heritage for a free country and a better life in America, because we all need to fight for the freedom we hold so solemn, and what gives you the freedom to disparage this country that you and your cult are attempting to change into the shithole kind of country your family abandoned. There are more clear thinkers in this country who would rather see you go back to Somalia, the country that you hold so close to your heart, and a place that doesn’t support and respect their military, police officers, freedom, or our constitution.
